I have alluded to this in several previous posts. I won't really miss the state of North Carolina - while it's been good to us, it has never been where we have wanted to stay.
Except that in eight years, we have forged some true, deep, lasting friendships. These are people who I now call family, who are always welcome to stay with us, who have lent us assorted things, brought us food when Benjamin was born, given us countless hugs and encouragement. We might not miss North Carolina, but with all our hearts we will miss our friends here. Some of you have already moved on to other places, but we knew you during our time here. Some of you have decided to make the triangle your home (and we hope to come see you at some point). We are so sad to miss the births of babies this fall (and beyond!), and cannot wait to see photos!
We know that we will keep in touch, and are so thankful that we have been blessed by your presence in our lives. You will forever be with us in our hearts. Keep in touch!
