to tide you over

Tim and I are off on vacation for a week starting Saturday - there will be numerous photos of our trip posted once we return and I have a few minutes to catch up on sleep/process them! For now, here are several shots of our adorable boys you can look at when you miss us.

Aquarium

We went to the Aquarium of the Pacific this weekend with Alex and Logan. Benjamin liked the sharks he could touch, the turtle that was up high, the fish, and the big whale.
Hanging out outside:

Looking at the sharks:

Checking out the seals and sea lions with Logan:

Puffins!

Sea stars!

Noah liked it too!

With the fish

This tank is so big...

You want me to take a picture with this guy?

Alex and I

Weedy sea dragon, one of my favorites.

Clownfish. There were a bunch of these in a tank with a bunch of blue tangs...wonder where they came up with the idea of putting them together...

Pretty orchids

And one of Noah in our laundry basket!

seven months

Noah is seven months old today!

He is about 17 pounds and 28 inches. He's a pro at sitting for several minutes, until he reaches for something a little too far away or gets tired and falls over. His falls are becoming more graceful and he usually ends up on his tummy. He is attempting to scoot forward on his tummy, but more often than not goes backwards, then gets mad that he's moving away from the tempting toys. I predict crawling is coming soon, since he has been getting up on his hands and knees (or sometimes his hands and toes!). Noah still has no teeth - some of those might be coming soon too. He's a pretty happy little guy, takes two naps a day, eats solids three times a day (sweet potatoes and fruits are his favorites), and nurses four times a day. He sleeps from about 7pm until 6 or 7am (lately it's been 6am, which I'm not fond of). He loves it when Benjamin talks to him and gives him toys, which I enjoy watching! He's a precious little boy!

Easter egg hunting

Benjamin enjoyed an Easter egg hunt today. It was free, a beautiful day, slightly insane within the egg-hunting boundaries, and we met some friends from church there so we had a fun lunch afterward.

He thought it was fun to wear his basket:

After, with one of his four eggs (which he traded in for a fun little treat box with some candy, stickers, and some coupons for the nearby businesses):
