soccer

benjamin started a "tot soccer" class last week - our way of determining whether or not he likes the sport before we sign him up for a team. well, he loved it!!! his best friend hailey is in the class as well, and they had a blast. he was good at dribbling and kicking hard, and really had fun...team soccer, here we come, i think!! :)

happy Easter!

We have done all sorts of fun activities this week for Easter!

First, we dyed eggs:

The kids got to find Easter baskets this morning, 

wore the cutest bunny hat ever, 

did a little craft (glued bits of paper onto a paper cross - fun, easy, and we talked about the meaning behind Easter while they did it),

noah's

benjamin's

mama hid eggs,

we had waffles for breakfast,

read the Easter story and sang songs together (since noah's been sick we opted to keep our germs to ourselves and skip church),

someone sees the eggs waiting in the backyard...

and hunted for eggs!

a great visit!

I just got back from a great trip back to durham! I ate lots of good food, got to talk to some amazing friends, and ate some more.
