First day of school!

Benjamin had a great first day of preschool! Here he is before we left with his beloved turtle (he is in the sea turtle group at school).

ONE!

This sweet baby turned one year old today! No, I did not wake up at 2:25am to wish him a happy birthday. Yes, I vividly remember being up until 2:25am the day he was born. He has 5 teeth, loves to stand up by himself, clap, crawl super fast, smile, wave, and laugh. He says mama and dada and not much else, loves to eat all sorts of things (cheese, green beans, mac & cheese, hot dogs, eggs, and waffles are high on his list), and his favorite game is "remove all the cars and trains from their bin and drop them on the floor." He's a snuggly little boy, who loves to chase his big brother around and climb on him (and Benjamin likes it too - most of the time). We love you, Noah!!

happy first birthday, baby!

Noah is one today! We celebrated with a little family party yesterday at his grandma and grandpa j's house - with a BBQ and swimming and cupcakes (of course!).

Benjamin helped me make the cupcakes the day before. He liked licking the beaters (I know, raw eggs, I know, but we all did it....
Cupcakes, done and frosted and embellished!Big O-N-E!

Benjamin ate the frosting off of his cupcake.

Happy birthday to me! Tim started the day by making me cinnamon rolls for breakfast after some snuggle time with Noah. Then he took Noah jogging with him and Benjamin slept in! He also took some photos of me and the boys.
Then we went to our friends' house for a yummy BBQ lunch and fun at the beach.Noah's first beach experience - he loved it!Benjamin enjoyed wading in the water, playing with his new friend Lila and finding treasures (lots of shells and cool rocks)!
